HOW TO PLAY:
Each ticket is $5.00 - there is NO LIMIT. Buy as many as you like! Remember, it is for a great cause!
The drawing is every Friday in the 10:00 am hour (CST). We will post on Facebook, Instagram, and our webpage. The cutoff to get your numbers in will be midnight the Thursday before the drawing.
Just choose how many tickets you want, along with what number you think the Queen of Hearts is hiding behind. We will draw someone’s ticket on Friday, and choose the number associated with the ticket. If we don’t uncover the Queen, the pot rolls over into the following week! There are 54 cards – a full deck + both jokers!
When we do find the Queen, the pot will be split 70/30 between Friends of the Animals (70%) and the lucky winner (30%). You could win BIG!

WHY:
Did you know the majority of dogs we rescue are suffering from heartworms? Dogs that are adopted from FOTA are put through heartworm treatment at our expense. As you can imagine, this is an astounding ongoing cost. Heartworms can be contracted by a single mosquito bite! Make sure you are giving your beloved pups at home preventative care and purchase your Queen of Hearts raffle tickets to help ours!

Who We Are at Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge
Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue, re-home, or otherwise save as many dogs and puppies as possible from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
Our goal is to treat every heartworm-positive dog that is adopted at the Dog Adoption House.
What We Do
Since starting in 2010, FOTA has found forever homes for more than 7500 animals from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area shelters and FASS (Friends of the Animals Alternative to Shelter Surrender) program.
Adoptable Animals
We have a wide variety of adoptable dogs and puppies available at the Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge Dog Adoption House. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
